Hello Robert,
Well, now it's August and there has been some time for this story to develop. Home sales under $250,000 are brisk. Over $500,000; particularly tough. I see this recession as making this an ongoing situation for the forseable future....

Yeah, the purchase of PGH seems particularly smart. The dividend is amazing!. Who cares if it loses another buck a share?

Hi Steve,
A good question, but it's quite broad. An investor - and his agent - needs to understand his real motive, which could be any of the following: Tax benefits, fix&flip, buy and hold for appreciation, buy and hold for rental cashflow. Or, it could even be: I want to buy it, use it and enjoy it. Maybe bequeath it someday. These are all valid, because an investment is anything that provides a benefit or rate of return to you (monetarily or otherwise.) Of course any agent would love help you buy a fourplex in Aurora or a ski in-ski out in Breck, but an astute investor has thought it over, included his financial planner in his thought processes and introduced the financial planner to the real estate agent. Thanks for a great question!

Bob
What's the Denver real estate market like in the downtown condo area? Seems like a great area! Plenty of activity after a Rockies game.

Well Bob
I have to admit these are bargain prices! Just like Denver real estate. I have followed Pengrowth Energy for a long time. It's been paying me a steady payout (20%) When I decide to move to Denver, I will look you up.
